Are these SEO tools really free?

How does the SERP Simulator measure title and description length?
Google truncates titles and descriptions by pixel width, not character count. The simulator measures your text in the same font Google uses and flags anything over roughly 600 px for titles and 960 px (desktop) or 680 px (mobile) for descriptions, showing exactly where the cut-off will fall.
How is a website’s carbon footprint calculated?
We download the page and the CSS, JavaScript, fonts and images it loads up front, and add up the bytes transferred. That figure is converted to energy and CO₂ with the Sustainable Web Design Model v4, the same methodology used by CO2.js and websitecarbon.com. Verified green hosting (via The Green Web Foundation) lowers the data-centre share of emissions. Images that load lazily as you scroll are not counted, so the result reflects a typical first view.
What does the AI Search Readiness score measure?
It measures whether AI answer engines can reach, read and understand a page: robots.txt rules for 15 AI crawlers, a live firewall test, how much content is readable without JavaScript, heading structure, answer-first writing, FAQ and entity schema, freshness and trust signals, and technical basics. Each of the 32 checks comes with a specific fix.
Why can’t ChatGPT or Perplexity see my website?
The most common reasons are a robots.txt rule that blocks crawlers such as OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot, a CDN or firewall setting that blocks AI bots by default, and content that only appears after JavaScript runs — most AI crawlers read the raw HTML only. The grader tests all three.
Does a high AI readiness score guarantee my site will be cited?
No. Readiness means engines can read and understand you; being recommended also depends on authority, relevance and how often trusted sources mention your brand. Our free detailed audit looks at both halves, including whether AI engines currently mention you for your buyers’ questions.
